When we think about Valentine's Day, love typically comes to mind. Whether you're in a relationship or not, when it comes to love, the most important thing is that you love yourself.
Here are a few ways to show yourself you're worthy:
1. Love the body you're in RIGHT now.
Most women are constantly trying to improve or change something. Don't get me wrong, improving your lifestyle isn't bad...it's great! But think about it like this...how can you improve yourself if you don't love yourself enough to make a change? For years, I struggled with my health and nutrition. It finally clicked for me when I realized how much I deserved to have a better life than the one I was living. You're worth it, girl! But don't wait...love yourself RIGHT NOW.
2. Treat yo'self!
Part of loving yourself includes treating yourself! In this fast-paced world we live in, it is easy to forget to stop and take a breath. Make it a point once a week to indulge in something that you consider a treat. It could be anything! My favorites are a bath, reading a book, getting my nails done, buying new workout gear... and the list goes on and on. Treating yourself helps to make the tough days easier. You deserve it!
3. Invest in yourself.
If you're ready to make a change, don't wait until the next Monday...or the next one. Take action now! The greatest investment you can make is in your health. Did you know having a workout buddy increases your chances of sticking to a routine?
